MICHAEL CLARDY took home his first career individual title, winning the Tiger Spring Tournament by one stroke on Sunday afternoon.
Clardy also helped push the Lions' B Team to a share of the team crown with Hampden-Sydney's B Team, as both finished the tournament at 36 over par.

The senior from Eastman, Georgia backed up his first round 72 with a final round 1-under 71 that included a dramatic birdie on the par-5 18th hole, lifting him into first by one shot.
Clardy began his day with a hot start, making a pair of birdies on his front nine to turn in 2-under 34. Then, after making a birdie and three bogeys on the back, he made his fourth and final birdie of the day to seal the win and help the Lions tie for the team championship.

As a team, the Lions were two strokes better on Sunday, coming in at 305 which was best in the 11-team field.
In addition to Clardy,
RYAN COLWELL delivered a strong 3-over 75, making nothing worse than bogey on the day.
Freshman
CONNOR LANE also improved in the final round, carding a 78 after a 79 in the first round to finish at T-21 for the event.
With only four players competing with the team, the Lions were forced to count all scores, including
MATTHEW ARIZA's 9-over 81.
Up next, the Lions' full squad will take on the Division III Showcase in French Lick, Indiana beginning next Monday, April 11.
