DEMOREST, Ga. – Due to the expectation of continued thunderstorms throughout the day on Saturday, the Piedmont College softball and men's lacrosse have cancelled home events that were scheduled for Saturday.
 
The softball team was originally scheduled to host Christopher Newport in a doubleheader starting at 9:30 a.m. while men's lacrosse was slated to begin its conference schedule by hosting Greensboro at 2 p.m.
 
The softball games will not be made up, but the men's lacrosse game against Greensboro has been rescheduled for Wednesday, April 10 at 6 p.m.
 
Women's lacrosse has moved its Saturday game against Salem up an hour to 4 p.m.
