Lady Lion Softball Moves Saturday DH at Huntingdon to Sunday Due to Weather

Terry Martin has guided his team to a 15-1 record in league play, but will have to wait one more day to take on second place Huntingdon as weather has backed up Saturday's DH to Sunday.
Montgomery, AL - The Piedmont College softball team has experienced schedule changes due to weather yet again as the Lady Lions' doubleheader against Huntingdon College this coming weekend has been moved back from Saturday to Sunday.  Game times are still set for 1:00 pm and 3:00 pm Eastern as Piedmont readies for its biggest doubleheader of the USA South regular season so far.

Piedmont sits currently at 27-3 through 30 games and holds a 15-1 record in USA South play to top the league standings, but the Lady Lions travel to the home of the team sitting in second place this weekend when they visit the Lady Hawks of Huntingdon College.  Huntingdon holds a 13-3 record in conference play and is one of Piedmont's perennial rivals as the two programs combined to win three of the last four Great South Athletic Conference Tournament Championships before making their way to the USA South, a league in which PC took a share of the regular season crown in their debut season in 2013.

Action in Montgomery on Sunday, March 30th will start at 1:00 pm Eastern, 12:00 pm Central.
