Louisville, KY - The National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) has released the 2025-26 Easton / NFCA All-America Scholar-Athletes honors with ten Lions from the Piedmont University softball team making the listing.
Piedmont's ten selections puts the Lions amongst the nation's best in that category which honored almost 2,500 Division III student-athletes.
The NFCA also honored the Piedmont University softball team as a 2025-26 Easton / NFCA Academic Team once again. Piedmont has been ranked inside the top ten in team GPA on three different occassions under Head Coach
Terry Martin.
The rankings and honors recognize the academic prowess of softball teams across the Association's membership categories. NCAA Division I led the way with 2,637 student-athletes earning a 3.5 grade-point average or higher for 2025-26.
Team GPAs and scholar-athletes are submitted by member head coaches.

ABOUT THE NATIONAL FASTPITCH COACHES ASSOCIATION (NFCA)
Established in 1983, the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) is the professional growth organization for fastpitch softball coaches from all competitive levels of play. Although collegiate coaches comprised the majority of the organization's membership in the early days, today they are joined by high school, travel ball, professional and international coaches, along with umpires, clubs, companies and fans of fastpitch softball. Growing from 40 members in 1983 to over 7,000 today, the NFCA boasts members from all 50 states and several international countries.
