ATLANTA - For the fourth year in a row, Piedmont women's tennis head coach
Trey Martin has been named the Collegiate Conference of the South Coach of the Year, as the league office announced its postseason awards Thursday evening.
In addition, four Lions earned all-conference honors, with Ella Kate Canday,
Caroline Morrison and
Kaleigh Stallworth taking first team spots while
Hattie Sloyan was named to the second team.
Ella Kate Canaday, All-CCS First Team

Singles Record: 9-6
Doubles Record: 16-2
In-Season Conference Recognition: 4x CCS Weekly award honoree (2x CCS Rookie of the Week; 2x CCS Doubles Team of the Week)
Of Note: Canaday enjoyed a standout debut season with the Lions, earning weekly awards from the conference four separate times during the season, including back-to-back CCS Rookie of the Week nods. The Gainesville, Gerogia native led the Lions with 22 overall doubles wins, highlighted by an incredible 16-2 mark in dual doubles matches.
Caroline Morrison, All-CCS First Team

Singles Record: 11-3
Doubles Record: 10-6
In-Season CCS Recognition: 2x CCS Player of the Week; 1x CCS Doubles Team of the Week
Past All-Conference Recognition: All-CCS Second Team (2025)
Of Note: After a strong rookie season, Morrison made another leap as a sophomore, establishing herself as a standout in the middle to top of the singles lineup. Morrison made a habit of winning hard-fought matches, prevailing in four matches that either went full third set or third-set match tiebreaks.
Kaleigh Stallworth, All-CCS First Team
BY THE NUMBERS:
Singles Record: 11-6
Doubles Record: 11-5
In-Season CCS Recognition: 3x CCS Doubles Team of the Week; 1x CCS Rookie of the Week
Of Note: Stallworth immediately stepped into the top spot in the singles lineup and delivered an impressive 11-6 dual record for the season, with all 11 of those wins coming at No. 1. She then found a dominant path as a doubles player, teaming with Ella Kate Canaday to give Piedmont some of its biggest doubles wins of the season.
Hattie Sloyan, All-CCS Second Team
BY THE NUMBERS:
Singles Record: 11-5
Doubles Record: 6-4
In-Season CCS Recognition: 1x CCS Rookie of the Week; 1x CCS Doubles Team of the Week
Of Note: Sloyan made herself known early in the season, earning multiple clinches in the non-conference slate. She was a steady presence in the singles lineup, winning 11 times, including a team-high six wins at No. 4.
Trey Martin, Coach of the Year
This marks Martin's fourth consecutive CCS Coach of the Year honor, and gives him five conference coach of the year nods in the past six seasons, having won USA South Coach of the Year in 2021. Through eight seasons as head coach, Martin has not lost a conference regular season match as the Lions will attempt to win their third CCS Championship and fourth overall tournament championship in his tenure.
