Women's Soccer Announces ID Camp Dates for 2026

Demorest, Ga. - The Piedmont University women's soccer program will host several ID Camps in 2026, and Head Coach Timmy McCormack has announced those camp dates which start as soon as April 18.

"Our camps are key to giving players a glimpse at our actual training session methodology while giving parents an inside look at how we organize and operate our program," said McCormack.  "The information displayed and the instruction given by our coaching staff helps players develop but also showcases why this program has been successful since the very beginning."

The women's soccer program does indeed sport one of the best winning percentages amongst Division III schools in the South Region over its history.

Piedmont has been led by six different head coaches since the program's inception in 1993.  Over those 33 seasons, the women's soccer team has posted more than 400 victories, winning better than 66% of the games played.

For several years now, the Piedmont women's soccer ID camp series has been a bit different than what most prospective players might see at other colleges.

Specifically, the camps are capped at a low number of attendees to ensure what Coach McCormack feels is a better experience for campers.

"Over time, our camps have evolved from the typical college ID Camp to these smaller group camps in an effort to improve the individual feedback received by players with instruction provided by our coaching staff.  We feel like the small group training replicates what we are able to do in our program even though we carry a roster that is suited for the rigors of the college season."

The first camp date is April 18 though registration has already begun for that date and nears the cap already.  The remaining dates are July 26th and November 29th, but prospective campers are encouraged to check back in frequently as new dates are constantly being added to the list of offerings.
