WHAT'S UP NEXT:
- A rare slate of just home games over the next weekend as Piedmont hosts NC Wesleyan at 4:30 pm on Friday, September 11 as part of the Bradford Classic held at Piedmont's Walker Athletic Complex

TURNING POINT:
- Hollins cut the lead in half when Lisa Krodel scored in the 19th minute, but Piedmont's Jordyn Harris scored her second goal of the game about ten minutes later to respond and put the Lions in the clear.  

STANDOUT PERFORMANCES:
- Harris posted a brace to lead the team to the win with goals in the 9th and 29th minutes finishing her own shot off the post for her first before putting away another breakaway chance for her second. 
- Jocelyn Lopez slotted home a Alison Witkiewicz cutback pass to put double the Piedmont lead at 2-0, the third goal of her Lions career.  

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
- The scoreline did not probably match the stat line when it came to shots as Piedmont outshot the home team 38-5 putting 19 shots on frame.  
- Gracie Phillips picked up her first goal of the year heading away a Laalia Temkit corner just 13 minutes before Summer Huskin scored her second career goal to set the final at 5-1.
