LYNCHBURG, Va. — Piedmont women's lacrosse could not battle back against the Hornets in their second road contest of the weekend.
The Lions struck first as Lovette Choloh found the back of the cage for her 16th goal of the season. Choloh would have four on the day, but Piedmont could not contain the tide in Lynchburg.
Lynchburg answered quickly and set the tempo with five goals in the first quarter. The Lions' attack could not stall the Hornets as Lynchburg continued to score.
Lovette Choloh finished the day with four goals for the Lions, bringing her season total to 20 goals.
Up next, the Lions will return home for a USA South contest against Huntingdon on Wednesday, March 11, at 6 p.m.

- Lynchburg ran away with the game in the second quarter after scoring five unanswered goals.
STANDOUT PERFORMANCES:
- Choloh scored four goals on the day, leading the Lions.
- Freshman Avery Washington scored two goals on the day, bringing her season total to eight.
