GREENSBORO, N.C. - The Piedmont University women's lacrosse team kept up its winning ways with a 20-0 dominant road victory over USA South foe Greensboro College earlier Saturday morning.

It was all Piedmont from the start as the Lions scored 10 goals in the opening period before another nine combined over the next two periods.  With the decision in hand, Piedmont scored only once in the 4th, but held Greensboro scoreless for another shutout in conference play.

Avery Washington scored the first goal after 15 seconds had ticked by before Lovette Choloh tallied a hat-trick in less than three minutes of game scoring the next three goals for the visiting Lions.

Clara Welch then tacked on two of her three goals scoring less than 16 seconds apart and needed only a little over 2 minutes more of game action to finish off her own hatty.

As the game turned to the 2nd quarter, all doubt to the victor had been erased as Piedmont went on to tack 10 goals to the total winning a 20-0 decision over the hosting Pride.

TURNING POINT:
- The opening whistle as Piedmont scored just 15 seconds into the game finishing the first quarter with 10 goals without allowing a score to the opponent.

STANDOUT PERFORMANCES:
- 13 different Lions scored led by a pair of hat-tricks from Clara Welch and Lovette Choloh with Welch adding an assist to her day as well.
- Ansli Cannon played all 60 minutes while posting the shutout, the second in three games for the McDonough native.

NEXT UP:
- A Monday afternoon non-conference showdown with Hope College with first draw set for 3:00 pm in Demorest.
