KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The United Soccer Coaches announced its 2024-25 College Team Academic Awards and for the eighth time in the past 11 seasons, the Piedmont men's soccer program has earned the award.
The Lions were one of 303 men's programs to receive the award for their accomplishments in the classroom during the 2024-25 academic year.
College Team Academic Award recipients are active members of the United Soccer Coaches College Services Program with a composite grade-point average of 3.0 or better on a 4.0 scale for all players on the roster during the 2022-23 academic year.
Last season, three men's soccer players were placed on the CSC Academic All-District team as sophomores
Andre Grant,
Nathan Jacome and
Davis Knight each earned recognition in their first season of eligibility.
Piedmont is set for its season and home opener on Friday, August 29 at William Peace.
