DEMOREST, Ga. - For the second straight season, Piedmont's Erin Donovan qualified for the NCAA DIII Women's Golf Championship beginning on Tuesday, May 13 in Williamsburg, Virginia. 

The event will take place at the Kingsmill Resort in Williamsburg from Tuesday, May 13 through Friday, May 16. 

The championships will consist of both team and individual competition conducted concurrently. Following 36 holes of competition, the field will be cut to the top 15 teams and top six individuals not on one of those teams to compete the final day. 

Donovan is set to tee off at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday on hole 10.

LAST TIME OUT:

After being named USA South Golfer of the Year for the second year in a row, Erin Donovan took second at the USA South Tournament, finishing three strokes off the leader. 

Donovan shot a 73 in the final round as she birdied twice on the front nine and had just a single bogey on the back. She finished four over for the tournament with a three round total of 220.

OF NOTE:

Donovan is the only women's golfer in Piedmont's history to earn a bid to the NCAA DIII Women's Golf Championship, now having done it for the second year in a row.
