RALEIGH, N.C. - In the 2025 regular season finale, it was all Lions as Piedmont women's lacrosse shutout William Peace 21-0. 

Five Lions earned hat tricks as Carson Bezold, Ava Trankina, Aly Reece, Merryn Bumpass and Lovette Choloh all added three goals. 

The Lions posted 26 shots on goal while the Pacers had just one. 

Bezold had three of her six points in the game in the opening 5:30 of play with an assist on the first goal of the game by Bumpass and scored the next two. 

Seven different Lions scoring in the opening quarter and 10 athletes scored in the game in total. 

Up next, the Lions will await the announcement of tournament seeding for the USA South championship tournament. 

TURNING POINT:
- Piedmont raced out with 11 goals in the opening period to set the tone in the contest. 

STANDOUT PERFORMANCES:
- Carson Bezold led Piedmont with six points contributing three goals and three assists.
