DEMOREST, Ga. - The Piedmont men's lacrosse team finished the regular season at home with a 17-4 win over Huntingdon Wednesday evening.
Piedmont jumped out quickly with a hot start scoring seven straight to start the game. The Lions scored twice inside the opening two minutes of play and
Mike Eisele allowed just one goal in the first frame as Piedmont led 7-1.
Huntingdon never scored back-to-back goals in the game as they were limited to just one in the second period as well as Piedmont established a 13-2 lead at the half.
The Lions put a total of four athletes in goal in the contest as
Trey Tuggle,
Phillip Bell and
Logan Hoenig all earned time and made at least one save.
Ian Parr,
Noah McGriff and
Jacob Hasbrouck each scored three goals to lead the charge while Parr led the team with three assists.
Up next, the Lions will conclude the regular season the road at Greensboro Saturday.
