DECATUR, Ga. - Piedmont volleyball picked up its second Collegiate Conference of the South win of the 2025 season, rolling to a 3-0 win at Agnes Scott on Wednesday night in Decatur, Georgia.
Led by an impressive showing from senior
Bree Chappell, the Lions ran away from the Scotties to take all three sets in decisive fashion.
Chappell tallied a career-high nine kills with an efficient .353 hitting percentage on the night.
Sophomore
Bailey Daughtery was impressive as well, recording seven kills with a team-best .583 hitting percentage.
Three-time CCS Defensive Player of the Week
Zoe Coelho led all players with 17 digs and was one of three Lions to reach double digits in digs as
Abbye Carver had 12 and
Erin Lemons had 10.
Lemons paced the team with 18 assists while freshman
Lauren Caricato was second with nine for the match.
As a team, the Lions totaled nine service aces, led by three from Lemons.
The dominant win sets the stage for the Lions as they head into another CCS Tri-Match this weekend. However, the Lions will play an out of conference match first, battling former CCS rival Berea in Kentucky this Friday, October 10 at 7 p.m.

- The Lions established a dominant attack in the early going, running away from Agnes Scott in all three sets for the comfortable win.
STANDOUT PERFORMANCES:
- Lemons recorded a double-double with 10 digs and a team-high 18 assists.
- Chappell tallied a career-best nine kills to lead the team.
- Daughtery tallied a season-best .583 hitting percentage.
