Maggie Leger took home Collegiate Conference of the South Goalkeeper of the Year honors as the league released its women's soccer postseason awards Thursday afternoon.
In addition, senior midfielder
Sierra Judson took home All-CCS honors for the fourth consecutive season, earning a first team spot for the third time in four years.
The Lions had two representatives on the second team with seniors
Savannah Jerome and
Peyton Gates earning an all-conference nod for the first time in their careers.
Leger added a first team spot in addition to Goalkeeper of the Year and was also Piedmont's All-Sportsmanship Team represntative.

BY THE NUMBERS:

Games Started: 11 (led all Piedmont goalkeepers)
Assists: 1 (as a field player)
Goals Against Average: 1.00 (1st in CCS)
Standout Performances: Leger returned to the lineup, earning the most starts on the team in goal in her senior campaign. The Oswego, Illinois native produced a 6-3 record in goal and was tops in the league in goals against average, at 1.00. She delivered six saves as the Lions defeated LaGrange 2-1 on the road, helping continue a season-ending win streak that has reached 10 games. Leger's Goalkeeper of the Year nod marks the first for the Lions since joining the CCS and the first overall since Laila Allen won USA South Goalkeeper of the Year in 2021.

BY THE NUMBERS:
Goals: 6 (1st on team)
Points: 12 (2nd on team)
Past All-CCS Recognitoin: All-CCS First Team (2022, 2024); All-CCS Second Team (2023)
Standout Performances: Judson delivered an exclamation mark on her brilliant career with a stellar senior campaign. The Wethersfield, Connecticut native led the team with six goals scored, totaling a pair in a road win over Warren Wilson in September before adding to the tally throughout conference play. She scored three goals in front of the home fans, finding the back of the net in victories over JWU, Covenant and Agnes Scott.
Savannah Jerome, All-CCS Second Team (Midfielder)
BY THE NUMBERS:
Goals: 4 (3rd on team)
Points: 8 (2nd on team)
Assists: 3 (T-4th on team)
In-Season CCS Awards: CCS Rookie of the Week (10/17/22)
Standout Performances: Jerome raced out of the gate with a standout opening weekend, scoring three goals over Piedmont's first two contests. She scored twice in a season-opening win at Trinity Washington before adding another goal in a win at Regent the next day, in the game that secured Head Coach
Timmy McCormack's 100th career win. She added her fourth goal of the season in a home win over Wesleyan.
Peyton Gates, All-CCS Second Team (Defender)
BY THE NUMBERS:
Goals: 3 (T-4th on team)
Assists: 3 (T-1st on team)
Points: 3 (3rd on team)
Standout Performances: Gates was outstanding offensively and defensively throughout the season, ranking in the top four on the team in points, goals and assists. The senior from Brea, California scored the game-winning goal in Piedmont's 1-0 win at N.C. Wesleyan at the beginning of the season.
