ATLANTA - Piedmont men's golf freshman Braden Kiley has been named the Collegiate Conference of the South Rookie of the Week for the second time this season, the league office announced Wednesday afternoon.

 

Kiley parlayed an outstanding opening round of 1-over 72 into a solid T-51st finish against a loaded field of some of the best competition in NCAA DIII.

The Bedford, New Hampshire native held steady throughout the final two rounds as well, carding a 76 and a 74 in Round Two and Three.
 

In the final round, Kiley made birdie on three of the four par-3's on his way to a 3-over 74.

Up next, the Lions will conclude their fall season with another trip to North Carolina, as they will compete in the O'Brient Jensen in Greensboro, beginning Monday, Oct. 27.
