Season Preview: Indoor Track & Field

DEMOREST, Ga. - The Piedmont men's and women's track and field programs are set to begin the 2025 indoor season this weekend, taking on the KMS Invitational in Birmingham, Alabama on Sunday, January 19.

THE SCHEDULE

The Lions are scheduled to compete in five different meets across five different states in the 2025 Indoor Season, with a potential for a last chance meet earning a return trip to Kentucky and the NCAA Indoor Championships March 14-15 in Rochester, New York.
After the opening the season in Alabama, Piedmont is scheduled to take on events in Danville, Kentucky. (Jan. 25), Sewanee, Tennessee (Feb. 1), Salem, Virginia (Feb. 15) and Columbia, South Carolina (Feb. 22).

2025 Indoor Schedule

THE ROSTER

On the men's side, the Lions boast a roster of 32 athletes, with 14 newcomers added into the fold.
The distance portion of the team is an experience group, led by Layton Bradford, Walker Capelle and Tucker Cox.
Silas Goolsby and Garrett Stadler lead the returners in the hurdles while sophomores Johnny Taylor and Franklin Brown Jr. are back for sprints.
On the field side, Kerrigan McClain returns while Ethan Jackson is back after a strong debut season in 2023 and a year absence in 2024.
The women's side touts a roster of 19 with five newcomers, most of which will compete in field events.
Skyler Seeber returns for her junior season to lead the distance runners after an outstanding fall running cross country.
Allie Feltus is back for her senior season to lead the throwers while Keyuna Peebles and Michelle Cates are back for sprints.
