ATLANTA, Ga. - Piedmont men's cross country athlete Walker Capelle has been named CCS Runner of the Week for the second straight week, the conference announced Monday afternoon.

The Auburn, Ga. native earns the honor following another PR week, where the graduate student turned in a 26:26.1. Capelle finished in 40th place out of 225 runners at the Converse Kickoff where the Lions were the only Division III team competing.

 


Walker and the team are set to be back in action Friday, October 4 at the Asics Invitational in Salem, VA.
