ATLANTA - The Collegiate Conference of the South as announced its 2025 Men's Cross Country Championship and a pair of Lions earned recognition.
Following his individual win, senior
Layton Bradford took home CCS Runner of the Year as well as first team honors as he became the second Lion in a row to earn Runner of the Year. On the women's side, senior
Bella Caccamo took home eighth place and was rewarded with a spot on the All-CCS Second Team.
Caccamo was also Piedmont's reprenstative on the All-Sportsmanship Team while
Brody Geckler represented the men.

Past All-Conference Recognition: 2x All-CCS First Team (2023, 2024); All-CCS Second Team (2022)
Of Note: Bradford put an exclamation mark on his excellent career, crossing the line first to capture CCS Men's Cross Country Runner of the Year honors. He finished 18 seconds ahead of his closest competitor and earned All-CCS First Team honors for the third consecutive season. Bradford ends his career as a four-time All-Conference honoree.

Of Note: Caccamo delivered a PR performance in the biggest race of the season to date, breaking the 25 minute mark to finish eighth at the CCS Championship on Friday, Oct. 31. The senior was knocking on the door of a first team appearance but leads the second team honorees.
