By Danielle Percival: Assistant A.D. of Communications

DEMOREST, Ga. - For the first time in the 2024-25 season, the Piedmont women's golf team will return to the links at the Joe & Lee Duncan Invitational on September 16-17.

Piedmont is coming off an exciting 2023-24 season that culminated in Erin Donovan capturing the USA South Individual Title and earning a bid to the NCAA DIII Tournament where she finished tied for 11th overall.

2024 Fall Schedule

Last year at the Joe & Lee Duncan Invitational, Erin Donovan won the event carding a 69 (-3) in the final round to finish -5 for the tournament.

Her 69 tied the Piedmont low round and set the Piedmont record for low-to-par shooting going three under on the final round. She broke her own record from the same tournament in 2022 for the Piedmont 54-hole low score with a 211, shaving six strokes off her previous record.

The team as a whole set the school record for low team round in the second round of the event with a 300.
