2025 Women's Golf Senior Spotlight

These two have been a part of some of the best women’s golf in Piedmont’s program history. During the time these two have been members of the Lions’ program, the team set the best team season scoring average, totaled the most birdies of any team in program history, and has set the team low-round. This group has earned a ranking of 34th in NCAA Division III on the latest Clippd rankings.

Abigail Evans - Senior X

Abigail Evans transferred to Piedmont as a junior and has been a member of the women’s golf team for two years. Abigail shot her career best mark with the Lions this past fall with a 76 in the final round of the Montgomery Women’s Intercollegiate. She also shot her best career finish for a 36-hole event the week prior with a 158 at the Joe and Lee Duncan Invitational to begin the 2024-25 season. She posted a top-10 finish at the Greenbrier Intercollegiate in the last outing of the season. She has totaled 17 rounds this season with an 82.9 scoring average. Abigail is a two-time Dean’s scholar list honoree and is majoring in Criminal Justice and plans to graduate in May.

Sarah Fox - Senior X

Sarah Fox is a four-year member of the women’s golf team serving as a leader throughout her career with the Lions. Sarah has saved some of the best for last as she shot a career-low 73 at the Alamo City Classic this past fall which also marked her career-low 36-hole total with a 158. Sarah’s scoring average sits at 81.8 over 17 rounds with a pair of top-10 finishes. During her time on campus, Sarah has served as a navigator within Piedmont’s SAIL program and as the Vice President of PEACE club. Sarah is an Environmental Science major and plans to graduate in May.
