2024 Women's Lacrosse Senior Spotlight

These 3 seniors have combined for 171 appearances and 146 starts over the course of their four years in Demorest. The group has led the Lions to a 39-29 record over the past four seasons, including a 12-7 mark in 2023. These 3 seniors have made impacts across the field for the Lions and in the classroom as they will look to close out their careers on a high note.

CIERRA MCFERRIN | ALPHARETTA, GA

McFerrin has appeared in 54 contests, making 40 starts over the course of her career in Demorest. She has appeared in a career high 16 games this season already, while posting the first goal of her career earlier this year against N.C. Wesleyan. Locking down the defensive end for the Lions, McFerrin has caused 26 career turnovers while collecting 33 ground balls. Cierra plans to graduate in the spring of 2024 with a degree in business administration in marketing.

MAGGI SPRATLIN | PEACHTREE CITY, GA

Spratlin is a three-year member of the program, appearing in 50 contests, making 45 starts for the Green and Gold. After a 49-point campaign in 2022, she followed up with the best year of her career in 2023, scoring 32 goals while adding 29 assists for a career high 61 points on the season.  This season, she has tied her single-season career high in caused turnovers and is just two ground balls short of another career mark. Getting the job done in the classroom, Spratlin is a two-time USA South All-Academic Team member. Maggi plans to graduate in the spring of 2024 with a degree in forensic science.

KELLIANNE SCHLOSSER | COOPER CITY, FLA

Schlosser has appeared in 67 contests, making 61 starts in goal for the Lions since arriving in Demorest. She posted the best year of her career during her freshman campaign, making 156 saves and posted a .479% save percentage while collecting 56 ground balls and forcing 7 turnovers. For her efforts in goal, Schlosser earned All-USA South West Division honors that season. The awards haven't stopped pouring in for the Cooper City native as she went on to earn USA South Second Team honors in 2022 and USA South Third Team honors in 2023. A Piedmont record holder, Schlosser has the most saves in program history, breaking the previous record of 394 during her junior year and has amassed an impressive 470 total thus far. In the classroom, she earned USA South All-Academic honors in 2021. Kellianne plans to graduate in the spring of 2024 with a degree in criminal justice.
