TOCCOA FALLS, Ga. - The Piedmont University men's soccer team took down Toccoa Falls by a score of 4-0 late Tuesday night. The contest served as the final non-conference match up of the year for the Lions ahead of three big CCS contests.
Senior
Jason Aussin opened the scoring for Piedmont, notching his eighth goal of the season. Sophomore
Andre Grant connected with Aussin on the goal, marking the first assist of the year for the Alpharetta native.
Standout sophomore
Davis Knight joined the party with his eighth goal of the season off the pass from freshman
Tyler Vogt.
Scoring his first goal of the year, sophomore
Delroy Mattis moved the score line to 3-0 in favor of Piedmont. Vogt recorded his second assist of the contest on the goal.
Knight added the final goal of the contest as junior
Colin Vogel recorded his team-leading fourth assist of the season.
Up next, Piedmont makes the long trip to Jackson, Miss. for a conference match up with Belhaven on Saturday, October 19 at 1:00 p.m.
