ATLANTA, Ga. - The Piedmont men's soccer team saw its dynamic duo of freshman
Davis Knight and sophomore
Colin Vogel take home All-CCS First Team awards while Knight captured the 2023 CCS Rookie of the Year award.
The Lions' top forwards dominated the goal scoring all year long, scoring a combined 19 goals during the 2023 campaign. Knight's 11 goals led the CCS regular season for scoring while his four assists placed him atop the CCS in points with 26. Vogel followed closely behind with eight goals and seven assists, giving him 23 total points.

Points: 26 (1st in the CCS)
Goals: 11 (1st in the CCS)
Assists: 4 (T-8th in the CCS)
Game-Winning Goals: 3 (T-1st in the Conference)
Of Note: Knight dominated the CCS in all aspects, leading the conference in scoring as a freshman. His added assists also gave him the lead in points while his goal scoring ability led to him being tied for game-winning goals in the conference with three.

Goals: 8 (T-3rd in the CCS)
Assists: 7 (T-2nd in the CCS)
Of Note: Vogel followed up a stellar 2022 campaign with another brilliant year up top for the Lions. Once again pouring in the goals, he also added seven assists with Knight up top, bringing him to third in points for the CCS and undoubtedly deserving first team nomination.
