HAYESVILLE, N.C. - The Piedmont cycling teams competed last weekend in the Chainbuster 3/6-hour race with several noteworthy podium finishes.
KATIE PROWELL, RHYLEE WITTROCK, MARIAJOSE MONTOYA, and EMMA FROST competed against each other in a competitive 3-hour long race totaling 30 miles by the end. Prowell had a strong race finishing in third place with Wittrock not far behind in fifth place.
BEN KOLBIE, SAM RIDEOUT, and QUILL MARTIN also competed against each other in a 3-hour race with Kolbie coming out on top winning the event. Rideout placed fifth behind other very strong, competitive riders.
JADEN GRIMES and Dylan Lindsay raced for six hard fought hours. Each had a lot of determination and raced strong. Grimes raced 85 miles total and came in second place. Lindsay raced 75 miles coming in fourth place.
