Men's Cycling Emma Frost

Cycling Competes at the Homegrown Gravel Adventure

The Lions competed in the Homegrown Gravel Adventure to great results.

The Homegrown Gravel Adventure is a race spanning 100 miles from Georgia to Alabama.

For the women's team, Katie Prowell won the 100-mile collegiate and placed ninth overall in the women's open 100. Grace Wilson placed third while also competing in the 100-mile collegiate.

Emma Frost won the 62-mile collegiate race and placed eighth overall in the women's open 62.

For the men's team, Pearson Bruhns placed second in the 100-mile collegiate and eighth in the men's open 100.

Kaden Zimish and Gerasimaos Agoudemos placed seventh and tenth, respectively, in the 100-mile collegiate.

Piedmont's final gravel race will be on March 7 in Dahlonega, Ga., in the Southern Cross race.
