DEMOREST, Ga. - The Piedmont men's lacrosse team took home its third consecutive double-digit win, rolling past LaGrange, 18-6, on Friday night at the Walker Athletic Complex.

The win moves Piedmont to a perfect 3-0 in conference play with all three coming by at least 12 goals.

After the Panthers opened the contest with a pair of quick goals, the Lions roared back with 15 straight to run away with the win.

Junior attackman AVERY JENKS reached 100 career points on the evening, scoring four times to go with two assists to give him 101 for his career. PHILLIP WATTERS did a little bit of everything on the night, adding a pair of goals and assists four a four-point evening. MICHAEL ANDERSON joined Jenks in attaining a hat trick, scoring three times.

Although Piedmont's offense started slow, once the Lions were able to crack the scoreboard, the floodgates opened from there. With PC trailing 2-0, MASON GRAVES' first goal of the season put the Lions on the board. Less than a minute later, Anderson tied the score at 2-2 before freshman DREW BENNETT gave the Lions a lead they did not relinquish, scoring with 4:02 left in the first quarter.

The Lions then closed out the quarter by taking advantage of a pair of extra man opportunities while DYLAN HAMPEL scored with eight seconds left in the period to make it a 6-2 PC lead going to the second.

From there, it was all Piedmont, as it held LaGrange scoreless throughout the second quarter and took a 12-2 lead to the break.

LaGrange's Tareyon Delgado scored three times in the second half, but it was not enough as Piedmont added six more goals to hold a comfortable lead the rest of the way. Freshman CHASE KROKOSKY netted his first career goal, scoring the Lions' final tally of the contest with five minutes remaining.

Up next, the Lions will remain in conference, hosting Huntingdon next Saturday, April 10 at 6 p.m.
