IRVING, Texas – Piedmont College's women's lacrosse team dominated from start to finish in Sunday afternoon's road game at the University of Dallas to secure the Lady Lions' second win of 2020-21.
The Lions' 22-1 win is their second in their last three games despite four straight losses to start the season.
Ten different Lions scored in a well-balanced game, led by senior
EMMA FRANSEN's six goals. Those six goals add to her team-leading total, giving her 24 on the season. She also added three assists in the game.
Four Lions scored the first goals of their respective careers in Sunday's win. Sophomore
EMILIE BAKER, sophomore
CIERA PHELPS, sophomore
REBECCA SLADE, and junior
ANNA WATSON all found the back of the net for the first times in their careers to highlight a spectacular day for Piedmont offensively.
Freshman
KELLIANNE SCHLOSSER continued her impressive start to her career with another six saves and just one goal allowed in the contest.

LINDLEY WARD to get the blowout started early.

SHELBY MINOR's four goals give her 15 in her last three games.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
- Piedmont led the shot counter 32-10 and took advantage of their free positions attempts, going 5-7 on the day while holding Dallas to just 0-1 on free position shots.
