ORLANDO, Fla. – The Piedmont men's tennis team fell, 9-0, to Carthage on Tuesday night in Orlando.
 
The Lions lost a pair of hard-fought doubles matches and fell behind 3-0 heading into singles action, where Carthage extended its lead by taking all six lines in two sets to complete the 9-0 sweep.
 
JJ Gray and CHASE MORRIS battled at No. 3 doubles, but fell, 8-6.
 
Up next, Piedmont will not play on Wednesday before concluding the trip with an 8 a.m. match on Thursday against Ursinus.
