ALTAMONTE SPRINGS, Fla. – The Piedmont men's tennis team used a dominant singles performance to narrowly defeat Dickinson, 5-4, on Tuesday morning in Orlando.
 
With rain pushing back the start of Piedmont's opening match of the day, the teams played singles first and just a single set to eight games.
 
PC began the match strong, taking five of the six singles lines to clinch the victory before doubles even began.
 
While the Lions were defeated in all three doubles matches, it was too late for Dickinson, whch was only able to cut its final margin to a single point.
