DEMOREST, Ga. – The Piedmont women's basketball team will travel to Berea, Kentucky for the USA South Tournament Semifinals.
The Lady Lions will begin their quest for their fourth consecutive championship on Saturday at 3 p.m. against William Peace.
If Piedmont is able to advance past the Pacers, it will take on either Berea or Maryville on Sunday at 3 p.m.
PC defeated William Peace in a neutral site nonconference contest on Nov. 16 in Danville, Virginia. The Lady Lions split the season series with both Maryville and Berea.

AMARI PRICE did it all again for the Lady Lions, scoring 26 points, dishing out eight assists, grabbing five rebounds and making three steals.
- She was joined in double figures by freshman forward
NAKIYAH WASHINGTON, who scored 15 points in 28 minutes off the bench.

Game 1: Berea 70, Piedmont 61 (1/11/20 in Demorest, Georgia)

- Berea's 16-5 run over the final five minutes of the first half gave it a lead that stood the rest of the way.
STANDOUT PERFORMANCES:
- The Lady Lions had a balanced scoring attack, with
NAKIYAH WASHINGTON (12),

KYLA MICHIENZI (11) and
KARLA CANTRELL (10) reaching double figures.
- Price dished out a career-high 13 assists, one better than her previous mark, set in her triple-double performance last season at Covenant.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
- Berea enjoyed a 54-37 rebounding advantage which included 23 offensive rebounds.
- The Lady Lions remained cold from beyond the arc, connecting on just 3-of-17 from deep.
Game 2: Piedmont 62, Berea 50 (2/8/20 in Berea, Kentucky)

TURNING POINT:
- Piedmont's 10-3 run to end the first quarter sparked a run of outstanding play by the Lady Lions, who led the by double-digits from midway through the second quarter through the end of the contest.
STANDOUT PERFORMANCES:
- Washington nearly produced the second triple-double in less than a week for the Lady Lions, scoring 19 points to go with 12 rebounds, seven steals, five blocks and four assists.

AMARI PRICE totaled a career-high 13 rebounds while adding eight points, four assists and three steals.
- Freshman forward Makayla Shymanski tallied career highs in points (eight) and rebounds (six).
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
- PC committed just 11 turnovers and held Berea to 18 percent shooting for the game.

Game 1: Maryville 74, Piedmont 45 (1/4/20 in Maryville, Tennessee)

- Maryville's 9-0 run to close out the first quarter helped it establish a comfortable lead that was not threatened the rest of the way.
STANDOUT PERFORMANCES:
- In her second game back in the lineup,
AMARI PRICE added 11 points on 5-of-7 shooting.

- The Lady Lions were just 1-of-16 from beyond the arc.
Game 2: Piedmont 81, Maryville 56 (2/4/20 in Demorest, Georgia)

- The Lady Lions controlled the opening tip and led wire-to-wire for the 25-point win.
STANDOUT PERFORMANCES:

AMARI PRICE delivered her second career triple-double, leading the team with 19 points, grabbing 10 rebounds and adding 10 steals.
- Her 10 steals in a game are second in school history since 07-08.

NAKIYAH WASHINGTON finished with 13 points and nine rebounds.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
- The Lady Lions forced 32 turnovers and scored 34 points off those turnovers.
- Piedmont also knocked down 8-of-21 from beyond the arc with Price, Wiley and Washington knocking down two each.
