ROCKY MOUNT, N.C. – The Piedmont women's lacrosse team earned a decisive 18-6 win Saturday over North Carolina Wesleyan on the road in league play. Piedmont (3-5, 2-1 USA South) used a hot start in the first half to coast into the break up 12-3 holding the Battling Bishops (0-8, 0-3) to three goals in each half.

The Lady Lions jumped out to an early 6-0 lead in the first 13 minutes with DOMONIQUE STEELE beginning the scoring and adding a pair of assists in that span.
