DEMOREST, Ga. – The Piedmont men's lacrosse team dropped an 11-4 game to Centre on Wednesday evening at the Walker Athletic Complex.
 
Junior JEREMY KOHN scored in the first 38 seconds of the game to give Piedmont an early 1-0 lead.
 
Centre responded with a pair of goals midway through the opening quarter, but Kohn scored once again with 1:05 left to tie the game 2-2.
 
A scoreless second quarter kept the score tied at 2-2.
 
The Colonels pulled ahead 3-2 in the third, but goals by BRYCE DELOACH and Kohn gave the Lions a 4-3 lead.
 
Centre closed the third with three goals in the final 3:42 to lead 6-4 heading into the final frame.
 
The fourth quarter was all Centre, as the Colonels scored five unanswered goals to close out the game 11-4.
 
ZACH CZULADA had 14 saves and four ground balls.
 
LAMONT NESBITT won 11-of-19 faceoffs and collected four ground balls.
 

Turning Point
-- Trailing 6-4, the Lions allowed five goals in the fourth quarter.
