ATLANTA – The Piedmont College men's soccer team closed out its regular season with a 5-0 loss at Emory University on Sunday night. 

The Eagles (8-5-2) scored in the 15th minute and led 1-0 at the halftime break. 

Emory turned up the offense in the second half as they scored four goals to run away with the win. 

IAN ADDISON and JARRETT SCOTT took Piedmont's (7-9-2) only shots for the game. 

The Lions will resume play on Saturday, November 2, with a trip to Maryville for the first round of the USA South Athletic Conference tournament. Gametime is TBD.  
 
THE BOX SCORE:
-Emory outshot Piedmont 27-2, with 19 being in goal.
