DEMOREST, Ga. – The Piedmont College men's soccer team dropped its final home game of the season, 3-1, to Huntingdon on Saturday afternoon on Senior Day.

Despite scoring first, the Lions (7-8-2, 5-6-2 USA South) surrendered three unanswered goals to the Hawks (7-9, 4-8 USA South) to fall below .500 in conference play.

The game started off on the right foot for Piedmont, as seniors BRANDON RAMOS and JOSE LINARES connected to give PC a 1-0 lead in the game's opening 10 minutes.

The goal was Linares' 10th of the season to go along with his 10 assists.

Although the Lions controlled possession throughout most of the first half, Huntingdon took advantage of a Piedmont error on the back line and Hunter Hall headed home the equalizer to send the game into halftime tied 1-1.

The Hawks took advantage of the momentum, scoring twice within 30 seconds early in the second half to quickly go up by a 3-1 margin. Both Huntingdon goals were scored by Kelan LeBlanc.

Up next, Piedmont closes out its regular season slate with a 7 p.m. road contest at Emory this Sunday, Oct. 27.
