WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – Sophomores CASSIDY HEFLIN and ROWAN BUMPASS combined for 10 points as the Piedmont women's lacrosse team rolled Salem College 16-3 on Saturday afternoon.
 
With the win, the Lady Lions have had 10 wins in every season since the women's lacrosse program began in 2013.
 
Piedmont also clinched the No. 2 seed for the USA South Athletic Conference Tournament which will be played on April 13 at 1:00 p.m. in LaGrange, Ga.  
 
Piedmont scored 14 straight goals to lead 14-0 at halftime. The Spirits outscored the Lions in the second half 3-2.
 
Heflin scored four goals and had one assist and seven draw controls while Bumpass added three goals and two assists.  
 
DOMONIQUE STEELE added four goals and CAITLIN O'BRIEN had a four-point day off of two goals and two assists and added six draw controls.
 
MEGAN KOWALEC scored once and had one assist.
 
MATTIE KEATON recorded five saves.
