LAGRANGE, Ga. – Sophomore 
ROWAN BUMPASS scored four goals and had two assists to lead the Piedmont women's lacrosse team to a 14-13 win over
 Methodist University to advance to the USA South Athletic Conference championship game on Saturday. 
Piedmont will play Meredith College at 1:00 p.m. at Callaway Stadium in LaGrange, Ga. The two teams have played for the USA South championship for the past four seasons. 
Tied 12-12 with just over three minutes left in the game, senior 
CAITLIN O'BRIEN scored an unassisted goal before Bumpass scored less than a minute later to put Piedmont ahead 14-12 with 2:22 remaining. 
Methodist scored with 36 seconds left to make it a one possession game, but Bumpass would win the ensuing draw control as time ran out on the Monarchs. 
Piedmont opened the game with a pair of goals from Bumpass and 
DOMONIQUE STEELE before Methodist scored its first. The Lady Lions would build a 10-3 lead, but only led 11-7 at halftime. 
With less than 20 seconds left in the opening half, the Monarchs scored twice to make it a four-goal game. 
Methodist opened the second half with a 4-0 run to tie the game 11-11. Bumpass would score to cut the Monarchs run, but Methodist answered and tied it back at 12-12. 
Bumpass finished with a game-high six points while O'Brien, 
EMMA FRANSEN and 
CASSIDY HEFLIN each totaled three points. 
Despite letting in 13 goals, junior 
MATTIE KEATON stopped 20 shots.
