DEMOREST, Ga. – The Piedmont women's lacrosse team dropped its first home game of season on Sunday, losing 14-1 to Sewanee.
 
Sewanee jumped out to a 6-0 lead before EMMA FRANSEN found CAITLIN O'BRIEN for the Lady Lions' lone goal.
 
The Tigers added eight unanswered goals to close the game.
 
O'Brien added three draw controls while MEGAN KOWALEC had two caused turnovers and a game-high five ground balls.
 
MATTIE KEATON had a career-high 20 saves in the loss.
