DEMOREST, Ga. – In a steady rain, the Piedmont College men's lacrosse team dropped a 10-8 game against Pfeiffer Saturday. The Falcons used a quick start to outlast the Lions and claim the win. 

Pfeiffer took the lead three minutes into the game, but CHASE GOFF answered to tie the contest. It was 3-2 in favor of the visitors after the first period, but the second quarter would be where the Falcons did the most damage. Pfeiffer scored four goals in the second period to Piedmont's three and led 7-5 at the half. 

Piedmont added a last second goal in the opening half as CHRIS HADLOW pocketed one as time expired to cut into the lead going into the break. 

In the second half, it was a lower scoring affair with both teams adding three goals as the contest was tight throughout. 

BRADY JENKS scored three goals to lead Piedmont while Hadlow added a pair as well. ZACH CZULADA posted five saves in goal.

--The Lions were 14-of-19 on faceoff's Saturday.

--Piedmont had 31 shots to the Falcons' 26 in the game.
