DEMOREST, Ga. – The Piedmont men's lacrosse team opened its 2018 home schedule with a 23-1 win over Lyndon State on Tuesday night.
Piedmont jumped out to a 4-0 lead before the Hornets scored their lone goal of the night.
The Lions would go on to score six goals in the second quarter, five in the third and eight in the fourth.

BRADY JENKS led all players with seven points (5g, 2a) while freshman
CHASE GOFF added three goals and three assists for a six-point day.

CHRIS HADLOW added five points off three goals and two assists while classmates
JEREMY KOHN (4g) and
SEAN KENNELL (2g, 2a) recorded four points.
Sophomore
LAMONT NESBITT finished 10-for-13 at the faceoff dot with four ground balls while freshman
QUINLAN KING went 10-for-14 and had five ground balls.
ZACH CZULADA started the game in cage for Piedmont and had one save and one goal allowed in the first half.
PATRICK SMITH and
RYAN MORGAN played the third and fourth quarters, respectively, while Morgan had one save.

-- The Lions dominated box score and totaled 62 shots, 44 ground balls, went 10-for-10 on clears and 6-for-6 on man-up situations.
