Kohn’s Six Points Leads Lions To 12-5 Win Over Hanover

DEMOREST, Ga. – The Piedmont men's lacrosse team picked up its second home win in three days as the Lions defeated Hanover 12-5 on Thursday night at the Walker Athletic Complex.
 
JEREMY KOHN scored the game's opening goal in the first 1:09 of play to Piedmont up 1-0.
 
JONAH PRESTON scored his second of goal of the year over two minutes later before goals by CADE CUDA and BRADY JENKS made it 4-0 going into the second quarter.
 
Kohn added his second before Hanover found the back of the net with just over 11 minutes remaining in the opening half. Both teams failed to score a goal for the remainder of the half as Piedmont led 5-1 at half.
 
Piedmont scored twice in the first three minutes of the third to pull ahead 7-1 before the Panthers tacked on their second of the night to cut the lead to five.
 
Piedmont added two more to take a 9-3 lead into the fourth quarter. 
 
Kohn tallied his fourth before the Panthers scored twice to make the score 10-5. Kohn and JOSH COBBINA put the game away with goals in the final 6:18 of the game.
 
Sophomore goalie ZACH CZULADA had four saves in the win.
 
Kohn led all players with six points off five goals and one assist. Cobbina finished with two goals and one assist while Jenks had two goals and five ground balls.
 
Defenseman COLLIN WENGER had four caused turnovers while JAKE HANAK had four ground balls.
