Montgomery, AL - The Piedmont College men's lacrosse team was on the road facing off against SEILC foe Huntingdon College in a low scoring 6-4 loss for the Lions.
Only two goals were scored in the entire first half as both teams struggled to produce offensively. The Lions were the lone scorer in the opening quarter as
PRESTON QUARLES found
BRITT KENNEDY for goal one of the game. The Hawks posted their first in the second quarter leaving the teams with one tally each after thirty minutes.
The third quarter was all Huntingdon as they netted four goals in a row stopped by the Lions only goal of the quarter by
CHRIS HADLOW with just under four minutes left in the third.
PC put up two more in the fourth as
JEREMY KOHN and
BRADY JENKS each gathered goals but the third quarter run by the Hawks held off Piedmont as the game ended 6-4.
Turning Point
--The four goal run in the third by the Hawks kept PC from coming back in the late minutes.
Standout Performances
--
JEREMY BECK and Colin Wenger each posted two caused turnovers in the contest against the Hawks.
Inside the Box Score
--Piedmont was near perfect in clearing going 15-of-16 on the day.

JEREMY KOHN's goal today puts him one goal away from tying the single season scoring record set by Spencer Ortis in the inaugural season of 2012.
