LaGrange, GA - To begin the final road stretch of the season, the Piedmont College men's tennis team won 6-3 over LaGrange College moving to 6-1 in conference play. The Lions trailed 2-1 after doubles play but nearly made a clean sweep through singles to take the match. 

The lone victory in doubles play came at #3 from KANLER CUMBASS and HARRISON LABOLLITA who won 8-2. NATHAN METZGER and JACKSON HILL came up just short in an 8-6 decision at #1 doubles. 

Piedmont made quick work in singles play claiming every decision but #4 with LaBollita posting a 6-0, 6-0 win at #5. The win for LaBollita was his fourth straight in singles play. 

Turning Point
--The Lions trailed 2-1 following doubles play but turned the tables and took all but one singles decision for the victory. 

Standout Performances
--BRYAN BARNETT claimed a three-set win at #3 singles winning the first 6-4 before fighting back after a 6-2 loss in the second to win the third 6-2. 

Inside the Box Score
--Barnett has won two straight at #3 singles.

News & Notes
--Piedmont is now 9-8 overall and 6-1 in conference play with one USA South match remaining before the tournament.

--The Lions continue action on the road taking on Huntingdon College Saturday in Montgomery, Alabama.
