LaGrange, GA - The Piedmont College men's tennis team saw the 2017 season come to a close Thursday with an 8-1 loss to Methodist University in the USA South Tournament. The lone win of the day came at #1 doubles as
NATHAN METZGER and
JACKSON HILL won 8-6.
The Lions dropped #2 and #3 doubles 8-2 and 8-3 respectively with the closest set coming at #1 for PC's win. It was the #1 singles match that proved to be the clincher as
NATHAN METZGER dropped a 6-4, 6-1 decision.
Piedmont ends the season at 10-9 overall after claiming the 2017 USA South West Division Co-Championship and the #2 seed in the USA South tournament.

--The Monarchs took a 2-1 lead after doubles play and swept through the singles competition to put away the Lions.
Standout Performances
--Piedmont's only win of the day came at #1 doubles as
