Orlando, FL - On day two down in Orlando, the Piedmont College men's tennis team dropped a pair of decisions by a 6-3 score to Judson and Ursinus Monday. 

Against Judson in the first match of the day, the Lions were unable to pick up a set in doubles play falling behind 3-0 before splitting the singles matches 3-3. Piedmont's wins in singles play came from #1, #3 and #5 as NATHAN METZGER, JACKSON HILL and HARRISON LABOLLITA won, respectively. 

Metzger was the only one to win in straight sets as both Hill and LaBollita took the matches in a decisive third set with LaBollita fighting back from a loss in the opening set to win two straight. 

In the second match of the day, the Lions won at #1 doubles but dropped the remaining two decisions heading into singles play down 2-1. Metzger and Hill earned the win in doubles play as they have won two of the last three doubles matches together.

Hill and LaBollita both won in singles play to go undefeated on the day. BRYAN BARNETT came close to a victory in the #2 singles spot forcing a third set, but dropped the point. 

The Lions now move to 2-5 this season with the two wins coming in the last four outings. 

Turning Point
--Judson won all three doubles points setting them ahead of the Lions and on track to take the match. 
--With a 2-1 lead heading into singles play, Ursinus took the #1, #2 and #3 singles decisions. 

Standout Performances
--JACKSON HILL and HARRISON LABOLLITA both were undefeated on the day in singles play. 

Inside the Box Score
--LaBollita made quick work in the deciding third set at #5 singles winning 10-2 after dropping the first set 6-4 and winning the second by the same score. 

News & Notes
--Every player won at least one set on the day with only one set going 6-0 in match one v. Judson.
