Demorest, GA - The Piedmont College men's lacrosse team played on home turf early Sunday afternoon taking on the Little Giants of Wabash College, winning the contest 8-6 in Demorest. 

Both teams were slow to score as the game went scoreless for the opening eight minutes. The Little Giants netted two at the midpoint of the first quarter leading 2-0 until CHRIS HADLOW split a double team to give the Lions their only goal of the first. 

The goal by Hadlow opened the gates for PC's shooters as they went on a four goal run in the early minutes of the second quarter. Wabash and Piedmont would each grab one more goal before the break with the Lions leading 5-3 at the half.

JEREMY KOHN opened the second half scoring with 11:04 left in the third. BRADY JENKS and BRITT KENNEDY each notched goals before the third would end putting Piedmont ahead 8-4 going into the final 15-minutes of play.

The Piedmont offense was left scoreless in the fourth and the defense allowed two to close out the game 8-6 over the Little Giants. 

Turning Point
--The Lions won the second quarter 4-1 giving them the advantage for the remainder of the game.

Standout Performances
--Freshman goalie ZACH CZULADA posted 18 saves in the contest while only allowing six goals.

Inside the Box Score
--PC's goals came in the order CHRIS HADLOW, JEREMY KOHN, BRADY JENKS, then BRITT KENNEDY with an exact repeat performance on their second goals. 

News & Notes
--With the win today, the Lions improve to 3-3 on the season. This was the first meeting between Wabash College and Piedmont giving PC the 1-0 advantage.
