Maryville, TN - The Piedmont College men's tennis team won its second straight match against Maryville College Friday 8-1 in Maryville, Tennessee. This contest was rescheduled from earlier in the season and was played just two days after the Scots visited Demorest and Burgen Tennis Courts.
Piedmont swept through doubles play winning with ease with
NATHAN METZGER clinching the match at #1 singles with a 7-6, 6-1 win. In doubles play, Metzger and
JACKSON HILL won 8-3 against Maryville's #1's after winning 9-8 over them just two days earlier.
AUSTIN MILLER posted his first victory in singles play in 2017 in his debut at #6 singles winning 6-0, 6-1 over Cole Stinson.
DALTON PATTERSON was the lone Lion to win 6-0, 6-0 without dropping a set.

NATHAN METZGER and
JACKSON HILL won 8-3.
