ROBBIE WERNER, it was Werner's victory in singles play that highlighted a 7-2 loss to Covenant. Werner and
HARRISON LABOLLITA picked up the lone wins for PC coming at #5 and #6 singles.
The Lions threatened in doubles play nearly claiming #1 and #3 dropping the two 9-7 and 9-8, respectively. Covenant rolled through singles play taking #1-#4 though
KANLER CUMBASS came the closest to picking up a set losing 6-4, 6-4.
The Lions are now 3-1 in conference play with four matches remaining including back-to-back matches against Maryville College after the match in Maryville was rescheduled due to rain.
Turning Point
--Covenant swept the doubles points though two were forced to extra points at #1 and #3.

ROBBIE WERNER won at #6 singles on his senior day claiming a 6-2, 6-2 win.

--Piedmont won 5-4 over Covenant just six days ago in Lookout Mountain, Georgia.
