Ferrum, VA - The Piedmont College men's lacrosse team hit the road to open SEILC play against Ferrum where they fell to the Panthers 10-3. 

It was a slow opening for both teams as Ferrum put the first in the net with 11:25 left in the first. Piedmont's CHRIS HADLOW would answer with PC's first goal four minutes later to knot it up at one each. As the quarter came near its end, Ferrum scored again putting them ahead at the first break 2-1.

The second quarter saw nearly the same scoring pattern as Hadlow scored again between two Panther goals putting the Lions down 4-2 at the half.

The late goal in the second would start a five-goal run for Ferrum that was ended with a minute and change left in the third as JEREMY KOHN scored for the Lions. Ferrum scored a late goal in the third to go ahead 9-3 before the final quarter of action.

A quick Ferrum goal to open the fourth was the final goal for either team as Ferrum took the contest 10-3.

Turning Point
--A five-goal run by the Panthers spread between the late second through mid-third quarter would hold the Lions off.

Standout Performances
--CHRIS HADLOW notched two of PC's three goals in the contest putting his season total at 13.

--The loss today puts Piedmont to 0-7 against Ferrum all-time.
