GREENSBORO, N.C. – The Piedmont College men's soccer team allowed two second-half goals as Greensboro College took a 2-1 USA South Athletic Conference win on Sunday afternoon.
The Lions opened the scoring in the 23rd minute with an unassisted goal from sophomore
VICTOR MUNOZ. The goal was one of two shots taken by Munoz in the loss.
Piedmont took a 1-0 lead into halftime, but a penalty by the Lions inside the 18 set Greensboro up for a penalty kick opportunity. The Pride converted and tied the game 1-1 in the 55th minute.
Greensboro went on the score the gamewinner in the 81st minute to improve to 6-1 in conference play.
